Dog Sports and Activities

Agility

Agility is a sport where dog and handler work as a team to complete a series of obstacles by weaving, jumping, climbing, crawling and running. The course often includes, but not limited to, obstacles such as weave poles, pause tables, tire jumps and triple jumps. New obstacles are being added all the time. Our course is designed to be fun and creative for both the dog and handler. We also run a low-impact Hoopers course designed for elderly and joint sensitive dogs.

Agility is a great way to build a dogs confidence and challenge her both mentally and physically. It also helps develop a stronger bond with the handler. This is one of the fastest growing dog sports.

Clicker training is a prerequisite for agility and will be introduced to dogs with no prior experience at no additional expense.

Canine Scent Detection

The most recent addition to our group classes, Canine Scent Detection is a mentally challenging activity. It's a great way to teach and improve your dogs nose-work. Your pet will learn the basics on imprinting of odors. This will enable it to search and find the source of a pre-determined odor. We will also teach your dog to give a clear final indication. This class teaches the fundamentals of scent work. It is designed for those interested in learning for competition or simply just for fun. Our class teaches everything from imprinting the odors to the final indication. This is a new exciting and different dog activity being introduced to Hong Kong.

Rally Obedience Class

Rally Obedience or Rally-O, is an exciting obedience dog sport that continues to grow in popularity across the globe. It requires handler and dog to perform a series of maneuvers in sequence and in tandem. Rally-O is generally light on physical exertion yet can be very challenging mentally. It's a perfect way to release excess energy from high energy dogs when physical exercise simply is not enough. It is also a suitable option for low energy dogs that require mental stimulation and a lower level of physical activity.

With the other dog sports the handlers role is often to guide or direct her dog. Rally-O enables owners and their dogs to participate together and helps nurture a stronger bond. This class teaches the basics of Rally-O.

Clicker training is a prerequisite for agility and will be introduced to dogs with no prior experience at no additional expense.
